The Major Deviated Sects and their Beliefs

Is he a Muslim?
Beliefs of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad

In 1974, Islamic Scholars from 124 countries of the world met in Makkah al-Mukarramah under the auspices of Rabita al-Alam al-Islami. They passed a unanimous resolution declaring Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani and his followers (Ahmadiyya Movement/Qadianis/Ahmadis/Mirzais/Lahoris) are APOSTATEs, KAFIRs and OUT of the FOLD of ISLAM.

For the last 100 years all religious Scholars of MAKKAH al- MUKARRAMAH, al MADINAH al MUNAWWARAH, EGYPT, INDO-PAKISTAN and all ARAB & MUSLIM COUNTRIES have been united in their stand in declaring them Apostates, Kafirs and out of the fold of Islam.

Followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad call themselves 'AHMADI Muslims'. They especially go to remote areas where Muslims have never heard the name of Mirza Ghulam or Qadianism or Ahmadiyyah Movement.

Pretending to be SUNNI Muslims and using their vast resources, offering Financial and other Material Incentives, they have thus misguided the poor ignorant Muslims masses in various parts of the world especially in Central and Western Africa, Far Eastern Countries and Central Asian Muslim Republics. Muslims in these region mostly belong to the Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah and have never heard of MIRZA GHULAM or AHMADI or AHMADIYYAH MOVEMENT and therefore they are unware that the entire Muslim Umrah has declare them KAFIR and out of the FOLD of ISLAM. Thus they turn a Sunni Muslim into AHMADI MUSLIM.

QUESTION: If AHMADIS ARE SUNNI MUSLIMS, WHY DO THEY CALL THEMSELVES AHMADI MUSLIMS???

WHO WAS MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD QADIANI?

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was born in a Muslim family in the North Indian village of Qadian in 1839. He received some religious education at home. He suffered from a variety of physical and mental illnesses of various kinds and had a habit of taking OPIUM and TONIC WINE.

Under the influence of British Rulers of India he sold his faith for petty worldly gains. He claimed to be the Promised Messiah, Mahdi, Prophet and the Second Advent of Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him), who has come again in the form of Mirza to propagate Islam. He claimed that he receive WAHI (Revelation) and named BRAHEEN-e-AHMADIYYAH as the BOOK of GOD.

British were facing difficulties in India because of the spirit of Jehad in Muslims and at their instigation, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad wrote books and pamphlets in which he ABROGATED JEHAD and made LOYALTY TO THE BRITISH RULERS AN ARTICLE OF FAITH.

Mirza Ghulam formed the AHMADIYYAH MOVEMENT in 1889 and called his followers AHMADI MUSLIMS. He labelled ALL THOSE WHO DID NOT ACCEPT HIM AND DID NOT ACCEPT HIS PROPHETHOOD as BASTARDS (children of prostitutes).

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad died in 1908 but Ahmadiyyah Movement has continued to flourish ever since; earlier under the patronage of British Masters and now the US and other anti-Muslim Governments.

UN-ISLAMIC BELIEFS OF MIRZA GHULAM AHMAD:

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad wrote 80 books during his life time, which provides an excellent insight into the mind of the man and how with passage of time his faith has evolved from Islam to Apostasy and Infidelity. 'ROOHANI KHAZAIN' is the title for the collection of all the books by Mirza Ghulam, printed by the Ahmadiyya Movement Headquarter in London.

Mirza was born in a Muslim family. His early books therefore contained same beliefs as those of any other Sunni Muslim. But with the passage of time his beliefs underwent a dramatic change and his writings became more and more heretical and un-Islamic. However in an attempt to prove that Mirza Ghulam and Ahmadi are also Sunni Muslims, Ahmadiyyah Movement's propaganda literature usually gives quotations from his earlier books.

Ahmadi will mostly talk of Holy Quran and Hadith keeping Mirza Ghulam well in the background and usually presenting him as a Reformer or a Mujaddid or Mahdi or Messiah, depending on which type of people they are preaching to. Mirza Ghulam's claims to Prophethood are not discussed.
Following are some extracts from the books of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad which provided the basis for Islamic Scholars to declare him and his followers Kafir, Apostate and out of the fold of Islam:

I. Mirza Ghulam says (Extracts from Izala-e-Auham, Roohani Khazain, Vol 3 pp.114-472):

    1. Holy Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) did not understand the meaning of Surah AlZilzal.
    2. Other Prophets have also made mistakes and lied. (Mirza trying to justify his false statements and unfulfilled prophecies - Author)
    3. Hazrat Mohammad's (pbuh) Revelation also turned out to be wrong.
    4. Revelation did not inform Hazrat Mohammad (pbuh) about Ibn Mary am, Dajjal, Khare Dajjal, Yajoog Majoog and Daabatul Ardh.
    5. Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya is referred to as the Book of God in various other books by Mirza Ghulam eg. Roohani Khazain vol.22 p.502.
    6. " 'Inna Anzalnaaho Qareeban min alQadian wa bil Haq anzalnaahu No doubt we have sent him (Mirza) near Qadian and with truth we have sent him'; . . . this revelation which has been published in Braheene Ahmadiyya as well, is clearly and loudly revealing that the name of Qadian is definitely mentioned in Quran or Hadith as a prophecy."
    7. Names of Makkah, Medina and Qadian are mentioned with respect in Holy Quran.
    8. Holy Quran is full of obscene words. (Mirza trying to justify his foul language that he used against his opponents)

II. Mirza Ghulam claimed that:

    1. He was the second advent of Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and better and superior than the first coming (Roohani Khazain vol 16 pp.272)
    2. Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has come again in this world as Mirza Ghulam to propagate Islam. (Roohani Khazain vol.17 p.249)
    3. Ahmadi should not differentiate between Mirza Ghulam and Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) because "Anyone who differentiates between me and Mustafa (pbuh) has not seen me and not recognized me." (Roohani Khazain vol 16 pp.171).
    4. Mirza's WAHI told him: "'Muhammadur Rasoolullah wallazeena ma'ahoo ashiddaohoo' ala alkuffar rohamao bainahum' in this Wahi God has named me Muhammad and Rasoolullah." (Roohani Khazain vol 18 pp.207)
    5. Those who join Mirza's Jama'at becomes a SAHABI of Rasoolullah. (Roohani Khazain vol 16 pp.258-259)
    6. Since Mirza Ghulam is none other than Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself, therefore when an Ahmadi recites KALIMA TAYYEBAH, by Muhammadur Rasoolullah he means Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. (Kalimat al Fasl by Mirza Basheer Ahmad s/o Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani)

III. From Mirza s/o Chiragh Bibi to Jesus s/o Mary:

    1. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the son of Chiragh Bibi but he claimed that he is Eisa Ibn Mary am. He said that at first God converted him into Mary am for two years. After two years, God made him pregnant by blowing the soul of Eisa into him; he remained pregnant for 10 months, after which God converted him into Eisa. This is how he became Mary am as well as Eisa ibne Mary am. (Rooahni Khazain vol 19 pp. 87-89)

IV. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed that:

    1. He was Maseel Maseeh that is he has certain qualities which resembled like Eisa ibne Mary am (Roohani Khazain vol 1 p. 593).
    2. Hazrat Eisa (pbuh) was the son of Yousuf Najjar (Roohani Khazain vol 3 pp. 254).
    3. Hazrat Eisa is dead and he will not come again. (Rooahni Khazain vol.3 p.402)
    4. Jesus (Hazrat Eisa) was a habitual liar, had a habit of uttering obscenities, an alcoholic, gluttonous and a wicked person, neither a pious man nor a seeker of truth, he was a proud man and a self-conceited person who claimed divinity. (Roohani Khazain vol 9 p.387, vol.11 p.289).
    5. "The fact is that Hazrat Eisa did not perform any miracles." (Roohani Khazain vol 11 p. 290-291)
    6. "Three grandmothers of Hazrat Eisa were FORNICATORS and PROSTITUTES, from whose blood the body of Jesus came into being." (Roohani Khazain 11 p.291)
    7. "Hazrat Eisa had become insane due to epilepsy." (Roohani Khazain vol 9 p. 417)
    8. "I wish Hazrat Eisa had not come in this world." (Roohani Khazain vol 9 p. 417)
    • "I am better than Eisa ibne Mary am." (Roohani Khazain vol 1 p.593)
    • "I have certain qualities resembling Jesus .....My nature and the nature of Jesus resembles so much as if two pieces of the same atom or like two seeds of the same tree." (Roohani Khazain vol.1 p.593)

V. Mirza boasted that:

    1. "Quran is God's Book and the words of my mouth." (Advertisement dated 15th March 1897, Roohani Khazain vol 22 p. 87)
    2. "I believe in my WAHI as I believe in Quran and Torah." (Roohani Khazain vol.17 p.454)
    3. "The basis for our claim is not Hadith but Quran and that WAHI which comes to us. Yes in support we also quote those Hadith which are according to Quran and DO NOT CONTRADICT MY WAHI. As for the REST OF THE HADITHs, I THROW THEM AWAY LIKE A WASTE PAPER." (Roohani Khazain vol 19 p.140)
    4. Bait-ul-Zikr (Mosque adjacent to Bait-ul-Fikr, the room where Mirza Ghulam used to sit and write books) is like Haram-e-Ka’bah, 'Wa man dakhalahoo kaan amina' {and whosoever enters it, is in peace}." (Roohani Khazain vol. 1 p.666-667)
    5. Verse [17:1] of Holy Quran: 'Praise be to Allah, who took His Servant on the Night Journey from Masjid Haram to Masjid Aqsa', its real and literal application is the Mosque built by father of Mirza Ghulam. (Collection of Advertisement vol.3 p.286)

According to Mirza Ghulam, Quran is the words of his mouth, his Mosque is like Haram-e-Kaba and Masjid -e-Aqsa is in Qadian and not in Jerushelm.

VI. Mirza announced:

    1. "I am Adam, I am Noah, I am Abraham, I am Isaac, I am Jacob, I am Ishmael, I am Moses, I am Jesus son of Mary, I am Mohammad (S.A.W)." (Roohani Khazain vol 22, p.521)
    2. "True God is the one who has sent his Messenger in Qadian." (Roohani Khazain vol.18 p.231)

VII. Mirza declared that:

    1. "Except for the Children of Prostitutes, whose hearts have been sealed by God, everyone else has accepted me and believes in my Prophethood." (Aina-e-Kamalate Islam, Roohani Khazain vol 5 p.547). . . . .
    2. He, who does not believe on Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, is Disobedient to God and Prophet and will go to Hell." (Advertisement by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad dated 25th May 1900)
    3. I am the "Self-implanted/Self-cultivated Seedling” of the British Government. "Government should take great care regarding this SELF-IMPLANTED SEEDLING . . . . . should instruct its officers to treat ME and MY JAMA'AT with special kindness and favours. Our family has never hesitated in shedding their blood in the way of British Rulers and did not stop from laying down their lives neither do they hesitate now." (Roohani Khazain vol.13 p.350)
    4. "From my early age till now when I am 65 years of age, I have been engaged , with my pen and tongue, in an important task to turn the hearts of Muslims towards the true love & Goodwill & sympathy for the British Government and to obliterate the idea of Jehad from the hearts of stupid (Muslims). " (Kitab-ul-Bariyah, Roohani Khazain vol 13 p.350)
    5. " . . . . For the sake of British Government, I have published & distributed 50,000 leaflets in this country (India) other Islamic countries (against Jehad). . . . The result is that hundreds of thousands of people have given up their filthy ideas about Jihad." (Roohani Khazain vol 15 p.114)

These are the real beliefs of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani and his Ahmadiyya/Qadiani Jama'at, but the propaganda literature will only try to prove that they are Sunni Muslims. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims have lost their faith at the hands of Qadianis/Ahmadis because they had no knowledge about Mirza Ghulam or his Ahmadiyya Movement.

Western Powers are scared of the RESURGENCE OF ISLAM, the SPIRIT OF JEHAD of Muslims. They know that ANY MUSLIM, WHO BECOMES A QADIANI / AHMADI, is one Muslim less. Every Ahmadi must believe that JEHAD IS HARAM. Ahmadiyya Movement is therefore an agent of the Anti-Islamic Forces to take away our faith in the name of Islam.

MAY ALLAH PROTECT THE FAITH OF EVERY MUSLIM FROM ALL EVIL FORCES. AMEEN.

WHAT QADIYANIAT (REALLY) IS?

Parallel to the teachings of Islam Qadiyaniat is an artificial religion that is planted by anti Islamic imperialistic forces. This is a group of traitors and hypocrites. Its purpose is to weaken Islamic foundation and to prepare an atmosphere in Pakistan where Israel could get hold easily.

Qadiyanis are always busy in making their evil designs against this Pak land. As a result of the Muslim unity in 1974 the Qadiyanis were declared as a non-Muslim minority. At that time all the Muslims of Pakistan left aside their differences.

Today again such an atmosphere of unity among Muslims is the need of the hour so that this mischief could be eradicated once and for all. Our religion lays this responsibility on every Muslim to struggle for the uprooting of this great mischief.

QADIYANIS BLASPHEMOUS OF ALLAH (S.W.T)

Having full faith and trust in one and only God is the spirit of monotheism (Tauhid). Alone Allah (God) is the Creator and Owner of all the Worlds. Mirza Qadiyani is blasphemous even against God.

Some pieces from his blasphemous writings are given below:

I (Mirza Qadiyani) dreamt that I myself am God and I believed in this that I am (God). (Roohani Khazain v.5 P.564)

In one of my revelation (kashf) I saw myself as God and I believe in it. (Kitab Al-Brae P: 85. Roohani Khazain V: 3 P: 103)

The God, that is our God, is an overwhelming fire. (Siraj Munir P: 55, Roohani Khazain V: 3 P: 103)

The unparalleled God is such a Being that has countless feet and hands and parts of body and this number reaches infinity and just like an octopus, His wires surround the universe.(Tozeh Mram P: 42 Roohani Khazain V: 3 P: 90)

Can any sane person accept this that in this age God hears but does not speak? Then the question will arise as why does He not speak? Is this due to some disease of His Tongue? (Zamema Braheen e Ahmadia P: 144, Roohani Khazain V: 21 P: 312)

How a man can escape from God, the God who is the Master of each and every particle. He (God) says that He will creep in like thieves secretly. (Tajjaliat e Ilahia P: 4, Roohani Khazain V: 20 P: 396)

Once I had the revelation (Ilham) that God will make His appearance in Qadiyan, keeping His promise. (Tazkara Majmooa Ilhamat P: 442 second edition)

True God is He Who sent down His messenger in Qadiyan. (Dafe Balaa P: 11 Roohani Khazain V: 18 P: 231)

Once the Messiah (Christ) stated his condition that (In a state of revelation) he felt himself as if he were a woman and God expressed His desire of virility (God had intercourse with him). For the while a hint is sufficient. (Islamic Qurbani Tract No: 34 by Qazi Yar Muhammad)

These documented pieces of blasphemy are sufficient to help one decide about the nature of Qadiyani ideology. Does it not by itself ask those strangled in this well of filth to get out and join the original Islam, the salvation for mankind.

Fatwas of Muslim Scholars and Organizations Regarding the Qadiani (Ahmadiyya) Cult

The 1974 Declaration of Muslim World League:

Qadianism or Ahmadiyyat: It is a subversive movement against Islam and the Muslim world, which falsely and deceitfully claims to be an Islamic sect; who under the guise of Islam and for the sake of mundane interests contrives and plans to damage the very foundations of Islam. Its eminent deviations from the basic Islamic principles are as follows:

1. it’s founder claimed that he was a Prophet.
2. They deliberately distort the meanings of the verses of the Holy Quran.
3. They declared that Jehad has been abolished.

Qadianism was originally fostered by the British imperialism. Hence it has been flourishing under her flag. This movement has completely been disloyal to and dishonest in affairs of the Muslim Ummah. Rather, it has been loyal to Imperialism and Zionism. It has deep associations and cooperation with the anti Islamic forces and teachings especially through the following nefarious methods:

1) Construction of mosques with the assistance of the anti Islamic forces wherein the misleading Qadiani thoughts are imparted to the people.

2) Opening of schools institutions and orphanages wherein the people are taught and trained as to how they can be more anti Islamic in their activities. They also published the corrupted versions of the Holy Quran in different local and international languages.

In order to combat these dangers, the Conference recommends the following measures:

1. All the Muslim organization in the world must keep a vigilant eye on all the activities of Qadianis in their respective countries; to confine them all strictly to their schools, institutions and orphanages only. Moreover the Muslims of the world should be shown the true picture of Qadianism and be briefed of their various tactics so that the Muslims of the world are saved from their designs.

2. They must be declared non Muslims and ousted from the fold of Islam. And be barred to enter the Holy lands.

3. There must be no dealings with the Qadianis. They must be boycotted socially, economically and culturally nor they be married with or to nor they be allowed to be buried in the Muslims graveyards. And they are treated like other non Muslims.

4. All the Muslim countries must impose restrictions on the activities of the claimant of Prophethood Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadianis followers; must declare them a non Muslim minority must not entrust them with any post of responsibility in any Muslim country.

5. The alterations effected by them in the Holy Quran must be made public and the people be briefed of them and all these be prohibited for further publication.

6. All such groups as are deviators from Islam must be treated at par with the Qadianis.

Fatwa of permanent board of Inquiry and Fatwa (Saudi Arabia):

Question: What is the Islamic ruling (fatwa) about this new religion Ahmadiyya and its followers? … In addition, when and where did this religion originate and what is the Islamic ruling (fatwa) about people who are in its favour?

All Praise to Allah who is The One and Blessings and Peace be upon his Messenger, his Followers and Companions … To the Point:

Answer: The Pakistan government has ruled these people outside the fold of Islam; also, the Muslim World League (Rabita A’ailm-e-Islami) in Mecca has passed a similar fatwa. In the gathering of the Muslim Scholars (Rabita A’ailm-e-Islami) in the year 1394 A.H. (1974), a written statement was drafted to explain the true principles of this group, how and when they started, and so on.

Very briefly, this group has declared that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, an Indian, is a Prophet who has received revelations from Allah and that no one will be correct in his Islam, unless he believes in him (Mirza).

He (Mirza) was born in the 13th century, but Allah(S.W.T) has told us in his Book (Quran) that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) is the last of Prophets; all Muslim scholars have given an unanimous ruling that whoever makes the claim that after him (S.A.W) there can appear a new Prophet is a Kafir (non-Muslim), because he will be lying about Allah’s Book and about the Hadith of the Prophet (S.A.W) which states that he (S.A.W) is the very last of the Prophets.

In addition, this would be contrary to the consensus of the Muslim Ummah. With Allah is Success and Peace of Allah be upon his Messenger Muhammad and his Followers and Companions.

Fatwa of Islamic Fiqh Council, South Africa:

After discussing the question put to the Islamic Fiqh Council in Cape Town, South Africa, concerning the ruling on the Qadianis and their off-shoot which is known as Lahoriyyah, and whether they should be counted as Muslims or not, and whether a non-Muslim is qualified to examine an issue of this nature:

In the light of research and documents presented to the members of the council concerning Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiani, who emerged in India in the last century and to whom is attributed the Qadiani and Lahori movements, and after pondering the information presented on these two groups, and after confirming that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed to be a Prophet who received revelation, a claim which is documented in his own writings and speeches, some of which he claimed to have received as revelation, a claim which he propagated all his life and asked people to believe in, just as it is also well-known that he denied many other things which are proven to be essential elements of the religion of Islam

In the light of the above, the Council issued the following statement:

Firstly: The claims of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad to be a Prophet or a Messenger and to receive revelation are clearly a rejection of proven and essential elements of Islam, which unequivocally states that Prophethood ended with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and that no revelation will come to anyone after him.

This claim made by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad makes him and anyone who agrees with him an apostate who is beyond the pale of Islam. As for the Lahoriyyah, they are like the Qadianiyah: the same ruling of apostasy applies to them despite the fact that they described Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as a shadow and manifestation of our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Secondly: It is not appropriate for a non-Muslim court or judge to give a ruling on who is a Muslim and who is an apostate, especially when this goes against the consensus of the scholars and organizations of the Muslim Ummah.

Rulings of this nature are not acceptable unless they are issued by a Muslim scholar who knows all the requirements for being considered a Muslim, who knows when a person may be deemed to have overstepped the mark and become an apostate, who understands the realities of Islam and kufar, and who has comprehensive knowledge of what is stated in the Qur’an, Sunnah and scholarly consensus. The ruling of a court of that nature is invalid. And Allah knows best. (Majma’ al-Fiqh al-Islami, p. 13)

Fatwa of Shariah Council, UK:

Question:

There has been a local dispute in which a Muslim community has prevented Qadiani women from burying her husband in a Muslim cemetery. Given that Qadianis are consensually agreed to be outside the fold mainstream of Islam, is this reasonable stance to take or is religious bigotry?

Answer:

This is not religious bigotry. We do not have an excommunicating authority in Islam but we do have a set of beliefs which are indisputable. Anybody calling into question these beliefs is considered a Murtadd (an apostate).

The finality of Prophethood is established in the Qur'an in Chapter 33 where Allah says that Muhammad was not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of God and the seal of all the Prophets. The Prophet, peace be upon him, himself confirmed this when he said, "I am the last of all the Prophets. There will be no more after me." Thus the finality of Prophethood is an act of faith to which every Muslim must submit.

Those who dispute this belief with arguments, even though they may be couched in Islamic terms, have been declared as non-Muslims by all the scholars and research academies. As such they have no right whatsoever to be buried in a Muslim cemetery.

This is not bigotry. It is part of the Islamic way of life in which only Muslims should be buried in an Islamic cemetery to the extent that where a non-Muslim woman is married to a Muslim man and she passes away during pregnancy she is not to be buried in a Jewish or Christian cemetery because she is conceiving a Muslim child. Nor is she to be buried in a Muslim cemetery because she herself is not a Muslim. She has to be interred somewhere neutral.

Fatwa of Mufti Ibrahim Desai, South Africa:

Question: How should we act toward the Ahmadi or (Qadianis) people who are in Pakistan also, and they believe that Imam Mehdi (A) has come to the world? I wanted to know how to treat these people?

Now that the government in Afghanistan is western backed, I noticed these people also trying to come for their tabligh to Afghanistan and the difficulty is that these people act like Muslims and they try to spread in Afghanistan too, so how could we take steps towards them and I want you to please inform as many Muslims as possible about these people and that they could go to Afghanistan to take every step to stop them. May Allah give you the reward wasalaam

Answer: Qadianis are not Muslims.

It is incumbent upon every individual to inform his associates about Qadianis and every possible effort should be made to protect and safeguard innocent people from the net of Qadianis.

And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

Mufti Ibrahim Desai FATWA DEPT.

Their thought and beliefs

Ghulam Ahmad began his activities as an Islamic daa’iyah (caller to Islam) so that he could gather followers around him, then he claimed to be a Mujaddid inspired by Allah (S.W.T). Then he took a further step and claimed to be the Awaited Mahdi and the Promised Messiah.

Then he claimed to be a Prophet and that his Prophethood was higher than that of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

  • The Qadianis believe that Allah (S.W.T) fasts, prays, sleeps, wakes up, writes, makes mistakes and has intercourse - exalted be Allah (S.W.T) far above all that they say. The Qadiani believes that his god is English because he speaks to him in English.
  • The Qadianis believe that Prophethood did not end with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but that it is ongoing, and that Allah sends a messenger when there is a need, and that Ghulam Ahmad is the best of all the Prophets.
  • They believe that Jibrael used to come down to Ghulam Ahmad and that he used to bring revelation to him, and that his inspirations are like the Qur’an.
  • They say that there is no Qur’an other than what the "Promised Messiah" (Ghulam Ahmad) brought, and no Hadith except what is in accordance with his teachings, and no Prophet except under the leadership of Ghulam Ahmad.
  • They believe that their book was revealed. Its name is al-Kitaab al-Mubeen and it is different from the Holy Qur’an.
  • They believe that they are followers of a new and independent religion and an independent Shariah, and that the friends of Ghulam are like the Sahaabah.
  • They believe that Qadian is like Madeenah and Makkah, if not better than them, and that its land is sacred. It is their Qiblah and the place they make hajj to.
  • They called for the abolition of jihad and blind obedience to the British government because, as they claimed, the British were "those in authority" as stated in the Qur’an.
  • In their view every Muslim is a Kafir unless he becomes a Qadiani, and everyone who married a non-Qadiani is also a Kafir.
  • They allow alcohol, opium, drugs and intoxicants.

Intellectual and ideological roots:

The westernizing movement of Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan paved the way for the emergence of the Qadianiyah, because it had already spread deviant ideas.

The British made the most of this opportunity so they started the Qadiani movement and chose a man from a family that had a history of being agents of the colonialists.

In 1953 CE, there was a popular revolution in Pakistan which demanded the removal of Zafar-Allaah Khan from the position of Foreign Minister and that the Qadiani sect should be regarded as a non-Muslim minority. In this uprising around ten thousand Muslims were martyred, and they succeeded in having the Qadiani minister removed from office.

In Rabee’ al-Awwal 1394 AH (April 1974), a major conference was held by the Muslim World League in Makkah, which was attended by representatives of Muslim organizations from around the world. This conference announced that this sect is Kafir and is beyond the pale of Islam, and told Muslims to resist its dangers and not to cooperate with the Qadianis or bury their dead in Muslim graveyards.

The Majlis al-Umrah in Pakistan (the central parliament) debated with the Qadiani leader Mirza Naasir Ahmad, and he was refuted by Shaykh Mufti Mahmood (may Allah have mercy on him). The debate went on for nearly thirty hours but Naasir Ahmad was unable to give answers and the Kufar of this group was exposed, so the Majlis issued a statement that the Qadianis should be regarded as a non-Muslim minority.

Among the factors that make Mirza Ghulam Ahmad an obvious Kafir are the following:

  • His claim to be a Prophet
  • His abolition of the duty of Jihad, to serve the interests of the colonialists.
  • His saying that people should no longer go on Hajj to Makkah, and his substitution of Qadian as the place of pilgrimage.
  • His anthropomorphism or likening Allah (S.W.T) to human beings.
  • His belief in the transmigration of souls and incarnation.
  • His attributing a son to Allah (S.W.T) and his claim to be the son of God.
  • His denying that Prophethood ended with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his regarding the door of Prophethood to be open to "any Tom, Dick or Harry".

The Qadianis have strong ties with Israel. Israel has opened centres and schools for them, and helped them to publish a magazine which is their mouthpiece, to print books and publications for distribution worldwide.

The fact that they are influenced by Judaism, Christianity and al-Baatiniyyah is clear from their beliefs and practices, even though they claim to be Muslims.

Their spread and positions of influence.

Most of the Qadianis nowadays live in India and Pakistan, with a few in Israel and the Arab world. They are trying, with the help of the colonialists, to obtain sensitive positions in all the places where they live.

The Qadianis are very active in Africa and in some western countries. In Africa they have more than 5,000 teachers and daa’iyah working full-time to call people to Qadianiyah. Their wide-spread activity proves that they have the support of the colonialists.

The British government is also supporting this movement and making it easy for their followers to get positions in world governments, corporate administration and consulates. Some of them are also high-ranking officers in the secret services.

In calling people to their beliefs, the Qadianis use all kinds of methods, especially educational means, because they are highly-educated and there are many scientists, engineers and doctors in their ranks. In Britain there is a satellite TV channel called Islamic TV which is run by the Qadianis.

From the above, it is clear that:

Qadianiyah is a misguided group, which is not part of Islam at all. Its beliefs are completely contradictory to Islam, so Muslims should beware of their activities, since the ‘Ulama’ (scholars) of Islam have stated that they are Kafirs.

What Qadiyanis think of Muslims

According to Qadiyani faith & writings they have been prohibited from having any type of contact with the Muslims. Even they are forbidden from participating in Muslims’ marriages & funerals. They have been stressed to boycott the Muslims.

Some of the thoughts of Mirza Qadiyani about Muslims are as follows:

It is our duty, not to take non-Ahmadi as Muslims, nor should we say prayers with them, because they deny one of the God’s Apostles (Anwaar e Khilafat P. 99)

While the non-Ahmadi are infidels, so are their six-month old children also. And as infidels they cannot be buried in the graveyard of the Ahmadi. (Akbhar Paigham-e-Sulah: 16th of Aug 1936)

I’m hearing the echo of the words of the Promised Christ (Mirza Qadiyani himself). He has said that it is not that our only difference with other people lies in the dispute about Christ’s death & such other issues. He has said that we have differences with others about God, Muhammad (Sallallaho–Alaihe–Wassallam), Holy Quran, Prayers, Fasting, Hajj, Zakat etc. and he defined in detail all these differences(Khutba Mirza Mehmood Alfazal: V: 19, N: 13)

Did Christ not separate himself & his followers from the Jews & made a separate nation? All the Prophets have formed their distinctive nations & groups. Have they not separated themselves from others? So, if in keeping with the demand of Prophethood Hazrat Mirza sahib, who is a Prophet, has separated himself from others, what wrong has he done. (Alfazal)

Whoever is not sure of our success is in fact, a bastard. He wouldn’t be a legitimate man. (Roohani Khazain: V: 18, P: 31)
My opponents were named as the Christian, Jews & the Infidels. (Roohani Khazain: V: 18, P: 382)

Every Muslim values and appreciates my books, gets knowledge from them & confirms & accepts my message (‘dawat’). But only the sons of the prostitutes didn’t confirm & accept me. (Roohani Khazain: V: 5, P: 547-548)

Our enemies have become like the boars in the jungle & their woman have become worse than bitches. (Roohani Khazain: V: 5, P: 153)

Every person who acknowledges Moses (to be a Prophet) but doesn’t acknowledge Christ or acknowledges Christ but doesn’t acknowledge Muhammad (Sallallaho–Alaihe–Wassallam) or believes in Muhammad (S.A.W) but has no belief in the Promised Christ (Mirza Qadiyani) is an infidel & has no concern with Islam.(Kalmatul Fasl: P: 110. By Mirza Basher Ahmad)

I have been given the glad tiding that whoever opposes me after recognizing me, will go to Hell. (Tazkara Majmooa Ilhamat: P: 168. second edition)

God has revealed to me that whoever gets my message & doesn’t accept me is not a Muslim. (Tazkara Majmooa Ilhamat: P: 600, second edition)

All those Muslims who haven’t taken the oath of allegiance to the Promised Christ (Mirza Qadiyani), even though they have never heard of Mirza Qadiyani, are infidels & have nothing to do with Islam.(Ainae Sadaqat:  P: 35. By Mirza Mehmood)
