I have a question regarding Salah, when I do Sajda sometimes I feel I have said 'Subhana Rabi Yil Ala' instead of 'Subhana Rabi Yal Ala' . I try my best to pronounce words correctly but still feel I mispronounce especially in Sajda so if this happens and I do Sajda Sahw will the Namaz be valid and if it happens once in the Sajda and I don't do Sajda Sahw will the Salah be valid or would I have to repeat even if this isn't uttered purposefully? |

Mashallah you have recognized the importance of reciting the words with correct pronunciation. We would recommend you practice the words you struggle with outside of Salah in order to achieve inner peace whilst in Salah. It is important to try to read Salah with the correct pronunciations. If one tries to recite but fails to perform correct pronunciation (such as in your case), the Salah would be valid and Sajda Sahv will not be required. We would also like to put to your attention that as you have mentioned in your question, that sometimes you FEEL you have made a mistake in you pronunciation. This could be a Waswasa (Whisper) from Shaitaan. The thought process is something that the Shaitaan (devil) can influence or bring forth and lead a person to think that he/she is making a mistake when actually he/she is not. His main objective is to divert your attention from Salah. In such circumstances Sajda Sahv is not required. (Answered by: Hafiz Mohammed Akhtar) | |||
