If a non-muslim child dies at birth would that child go to Heaven?
If the answer is yes then will that child take his/her parents with him/her? (Just like a Muslim child asks for forgiveness from Allah (S.W.T) for his/her parents until Allah (S.W.T) grants the parents Paradise). |

I have been present at various funerals and have noticed that at the time of ghusl of the deceased, people are indulged in worldly gossip. Is this allowed or not?
In Pakistan I have personally seen that when a person dies , the locals comb the hair, cut the nails, and in some case trim and colour the deceaseds beard. Woman who pass away have mehndi applied to their hands, feet and hair. Does Shariah allow this? |

I have been asked a question by someone and didn’t know what the answer was so would be grateful if you can tell me. The question is: If you know of a person within your area who is a non Muslim, and he passes away.
He has no family and no real friends other than a few Muslim friends (including
us). As we are based outside UK, the government doesn’t, participate in the burial and it is down to family to organize the burial.
If the responsibility is set on your shoulders as you are closest to next of kin as can be, then how should you bury the body? Bearing in mind that you are a Muslim and the deceased is a non believer. |

When someone passes away, are you allowed to put henna (mehndi) on the deceased hands and feet, put 'surmah', removal of the facial hair (shaving the stubble or plucking the eyebrows), clipping the nail, etc?
Can we smarten the body? Is this accepted in Islam?
I ask these questions because they are fairly common in certain areas in Pakistan, and slowly growing in UK. |

Are we allowed to put flowers on a grave? Reason for this question is that I have recently been handed documentation produced by Shaykh Gibril F Haddad stating that it is Bid'at (innovation) to put flowers on graves and that it is not written anywhere in the Hadith that we are allowed to put flowers on a grave. Its stated that we can place two green stalks on a grave. is this true as someone has also mentioned that you can place a rose on the grave as the scent of a rose is from the Prophet (S.A.W)? |

Can you clarify what will happen to non-Muslims on the day of Kiyamat?
I have several friends who are devout followers of other religions, for instance, Sikh, Hindu etc. They are good and honest people, but I find it unfair that they may be subject to the fire of Hell. Can you clarify what will happen to them? Will Allah have any mercy?
Surely if they are content with their faith, why would they consider looking into other religions; much like how a Muslim would not look to consider any other faith. |

In my community (and I'm sure many others) there is this 40 day thing that seems so significant. Here, the house where the deceased lived has all the furniture removed, bed sheets spread out in the lounge and people coming and going for the entire 40 day period.
Indeed they do pray some Yaseen Sharif etc, but isn’t it a better and simpler thing to just spend the three days visiting and praying for the deceased and leaving it at that? So that there is less prolonged stress for the immediate family and daily life.
Please explain the ideal Islamic process in practical terms for when AFTER a person dies. |

Recently a married male member of my family has passed away, my Allah (S.W.T) rest his soul in peace. Some members of the extended family claim that the wife of the late male should be not allowed to see the face of the corpse, or leave the house for some period of time to show she is grieving the death of her late husband.
They also, claim that as he has died their husband/ wife relationship has ended. I know their claims are not 100% correct and was wondering if you could provide any
Hadiths/ Ayats that refer to such circumstances and what should/ shouldn't be done. |

I have attended many Funerals and one thing that is very apparent that although you will find many non Sunni Alims present at the graveside, whilst the burial is taking place, the Sunni Alims are nowhere to be seen.
Could you please tell me why our Alims do not find it necessary to attend these occasions and how come we the public are lead blindly by the other Alims? |

If it is permissible to call Azaan in the graveyard why did the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) not do that? Do you think you are more knowledgeable than The Prophet?
Allah (S.W.T) said he completed his Deen and he sent a Nabi (S.A.W) who reads Quran to you, explains it to you. so follow him, take what he gives and leave what he leaves.
It is very clear and does not need any more clarification. It is obvious this will not be answered by you. |
