This dream is not mine but it is about me my uncle's daughter had this dream:
The dream was she doesn’t know if it is my wedding day or a function during them days but she sees her boyfriend in the dream and it is snowing and he gets lost in the fields she says to my sister to go with her and find him but my sister doesn't go with her and I say to her that I will go with you, me and her are following her boyfriends foot steps in the fields and we are just going round and round but we cant find him so my cousin says leave it because he's playing a game we are just going round in circles and then she wakes up.
After she awoke she told her boyfriends father about the field part but not about the wedding part and they at that moment had a peer sahib at the house, the peer asked her who is getting married and she said me, the peer said to her that something bad is getting planed by a family member for the wedding but they don’t know if it is from the dad's side or the mum's side of the family and because she said in her dream its a game we are just going around in circles, we will figure out the plan but by then it will be to late.
I am really very worried and don’t know what to do I have turned my self towards Allah. Please is there anyway I can find out what is going to happen and who is planning the bad. I hope you understand what I have written and can you email me the reply back. Allah hafiz |

I’m a non Muslim woman. My mother was a non practicing Christian and as such I have not had a religious upbringing. I met and fell in love with a Muslim boy who is practicing.
We now have a daughter who is two. I have found out that he is married with another child. Shortly after becoming pregnant he admitted that he had a wife and he has another daughter three months younger than ours with his wife.
Despite this I still love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him. The relationship feels wrong and I do not want to continue along this path. I want the best for my daughter and want her to have a religious upbringing that I never had in order that she avoid a situation such as mine, but I’m scared that the life which I am leading will not result in this.
I also fear the persecution that she will face. I am willing to covert to Islam in order to try and live properly and would want to marry the father of my child and live properly. What implications does this have if I know that neither his first wife nor his family would agree and so the marriage would have to be kept secret? Is this better then the immoral relationship we have now?
I also receive little religious guidance from him on how I can become a Muslim and on how my daughter should be brought up. How is it that a non Muslim becomes a Muslim and where can I go for advice. Thank You |

My First Child is due, by the will of Allah (S.W.T), in October this year. I understand that we need to do the Aqueeqah (booking a hall, inviting guests round, and inviting a guest imam, food and the Aqueeqah meat) which I have no problem with.
But if by the will of Allah (S.W.T), the child is born during Ramadan, I guess everyone will be busy fasting and if the child is born after Ramadan, everyone has celebrated Eid and will not appreciate the Aqueeqah.
I feel it will be more beneficial spiritually and morally that if I add up all these costs i.e. booking a hall, inviting guess round, inviting a guess imam, food and the Aqueeqah meat and send the equivalent amount in pounds to Sudan or Palestine or any poor regions where the people will appreciate it. How do I proceed? |

I wanted to ask about the divide within society, in regards to where a person comes from. recently I was told that since I’m not a born Muslim, but have been guided to learn and follow Allah (S.W.T) late in my life, and also that I didn't belong to a certain village, and therefore am not a certain caste and supposedly do not follow the same way of living as this family, I may not be accepted by the Mother to marry her Son. This is because people might look badly towards this family after.
Please for my peace of mind can you clarify whether this caste divide is correct? I have read in the Holy Quran that a believing man may marry a woman believer or one of the people of the Scriptures.
I also understand that it would be wrong to make a son choose over his mother as Paradise is between her feet, therefore I would not insist on this marriage. However are the reasons of refusal given to me correct? Please can you clarify for me? Is it correct to do so to uphold the honour of their family? |

I would like a Scholarly opinion Insha’Allah - May Allah (S.W.T) reward your efforts and grant you Jannah.
My husband is very pious Masha'Allah and I am trying to improve in my practice of Islam (I am a revert) I try to cover myself appropriately and wear Niqab outside of the house most of the time.
My husband feels it is a higher/ advanced level of Adab to also wear a Head covering (e.g. scarf) at home. As he has Taqwa, he feels doing so is more modest and brings greater blessings into the home through one's modesty.
He suggests (never enforces, Alhamdulillah for his good character) that I should wear head covering even in seclusion with no visitors or Non-Mahrams. I have no objections to doing this if evidence or proof of this is presented as I wish to obey my husband.
From my studies I have found no evidence of women being required or even recommended to keep on Hijab at home. My husband says I will not find evidence of this because it is Adab and therefore more subtle - not from Quran and Sunnah.
My husband is from Pakistan and I am concerned that this is actually a cultural practice and that there is no recommendation/benefit from my doing so. I am happy to do it to please him but I am equally very keen to follow true Islam without cultural norms being mistaken for such.
Could you please clarify if covering at home is more in line with the principle of 'Haya? If not, will I be sinning if I refuse? (not out of stubbornness, rather the intent to avoid cultural practices or innovation in Deen) Jazakha'Allah khair Wa'alikum wa salaam, Barak Allah feek. Revert sister |

Isn’t it true that there should be no laughing, no worldly talks, no shouting in the mosque? So then why is it that there are 'elders' in mosque who treat the mosque like its their home and do everything they shouldn’t be doing, what kind of example is this to young children who get shouted at for something the 'elders' are doing themselves. I’ve heard loads of gossip, backchat and disrespect from these 'elders' and have had enough. It’s disgraceful, they should know better, treating everyone like dirt.
I have done nothing but respect these people and when they keep being disrespectful, time and time again there’s only a certain amount i can take. I’ve been incredibly patient and its getting beyond a joke, I go to this particular Masjid, do my thing, give salaam to the people there and leave. Does it say anywhere that I have to stay and talk to people because they want to talk about something irrelevant, no?
