1189 Are old wife tales part of superstition? And if you are forced to follow an old wifes tale can you refuse?
It is incorrect to use blanket statement to highlight everything under one banner. Although the majority of old wife’s tales are part of superstition, not all are. Some may be stories relating to actual events which people assume to be incorrect.

It is important to research into what is true and what is not. If the story turns out to be superstitious then to stay away from such practice is advised.
