1245 A Christian girl asks me what will be in the Jannah for women because for men she knows that there will be "Houris". Could you please explain what will be the Maqam of women married or unmarried in Jannah and what inshallah they will have in it.
To receive the reward of Jannah is the ultimate goal. When a person will be granted Jannah he would desire nothing else. However it is mentioned that seventy hoorein will also be given to the woman as her personal maids, and the greatest reward in paradise is to be close to RasoolAllah (S.A.W), which is no doubt more rewarding then 70 hoorein.

As for what will be in Jannah; there are many books covering this vast subject. Below is a very brief intro for your pleasure:

Jannah is a very large and beautiful place.

 Its walls have been made of bricks of gold and silver and its cement is made of musk.
 The ground is made of saffron and ambergris (a wax-like substance).
 Instead of gravel, there will be diamonds and pearls.
 There are huge mansions made of pearls, diamonds and beautiful jewellery.
 There will be various types of fruits, milk, wine (sweet smelling, non-alcoholic), honey and other delicious types of food for the Jannaties.
 No one will suffer any trouble, difficulty, hardships or suffering but will receive all kinds of comfort in Jannah.
 Every wish, request and desire will be fulfilled in Jannah.
 There are 100 ranks in Jannah.
 Seeing the best of creation, Holy Prophet (S.A.W)
 Each rank is as large in breadth as the sky to the ground.
 Its doors are so wide, that a fast horse would have to run seventy years to get from one side to another.
 The greatest Ne'mat (blessing) in Jannah is to make Didaar (See) of Allah(S.W.T).
 And much much more that words cannot describe, nor minds can understand.
