1269 Should Moustache be trimmed or completely shaven off?
There is a difference of opinion amongst the Scholars regarding the Hadith of the Prophet (S.A.W): “Trim the moustaches” (Qass al-Sharib). Some interpret Qass to mean completely shave them, whereas most Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamah Scholars interpret it to mean trim it so it does not fall beyond the lips.

We hold this opinion with the Majority.
