244 If a child is born and no name is given to him/her, how would they be called up to enter Heaven on the Day of Judgment?
If a child is stillborn then no name is given and it is buried, thus it will be considered that he had no life in this world, therefore he would not be called upon judgement day. In other circumstances a person will be called on the day of judgement with reference to his fathers name. Ulama advise that if a child has been born alive then you should name the child before burial.
