408 Are school children allowed to attend assemblies, where singing is happening, or where the rhyme (Religious or Non Religious) are sung?

Further more are children allowed to attend and study the subject of music for learning purposes or as part of their secular education?
It should be avoided to study music as part of your education. This normally in school is an option and if the school is informed of your religious believes they will allow you to be excused.
