448 Dear Muslims brothers I am from India Hyderabad.

Muhammad Abdul Aleem Qadri is my name, brothers I wanted to know what is the belief of Ahle Sunnah Wal Jammat on Yazeed, who gave pain to AHLE BAIT.

The Aqeeda (belief) of Jammat e Ahle Sunnat is that Yazeed was a Fasik and Fajir and carried out many acts of Kufr (disbelief) and injustice and was most tyrant of rulers against Islam and the Ahle bait (family of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W).

Great Ulema with the likes of Imam-e-Azam, Imam Abu Hanifa (R.A) remain silent on this matter of sending Lanaat on Yazeed. Imam Ahmed Raza Khan (R.A) says it’s better to praise the Shuhada e Karbala than to curse Yazeed. Referenced from Shara Sahih Muslim; 3rd edition; P637.

While other Ulema with the likes of the great Imam Ahmed Ibn Hambal; Ibn Jauzi; Allama Alusi; Qadhi Thanaullah Panee Pathee Rahmatullahi Aly Ajmaeen all confirm that according to his acts we are allowed with some of the Ulema the opinion is that in fact we should send lanaat (curse) upon Yazeed.
