542 Why do you cut your hair after Umrah?
This is referred to as Halaq. Men are required to shave their heads or trim at least on inch of their hair uniformly. A woman should trim slightly more than one inch from the end of their plait. After shaving or trimming the hair the rituals of Umrah have ended and all restriction imposed due to the Ihram will be lifted.
