78 In households when a child is born the karahee is done. Is this Farz, Sunnah etc?
The karahee has no Shari recognition, however if you are doing this for a Dua (as a thanks giving or something you had said you will do at a birth), then that is fine. Remember it’s not a Sunnah hence we are encouraged to refrain from creating such traditions which have no base in Islam. However to make a Dua or Ehsal-e-Sawab acts are rather encouraged.
