899 If a woman faces Haiz or Nifaas in the state of Fard Fast, will she be able to continue with her Fast for that Day?
If a woman faces Haiz or Nifaas in the state of Fast, her Fast will be invalid and it will be Fard (obligatory) on her to observe the missed Fard Fast, once she is Paak (Clean). As for being in optional Fast (Nafil Fast), it would be Wajib (essential act) to repeat the Fast.
