916 What breaks Istinja? And what doesn’t break Istinja?
If anything comes out of your front or back passage (apart from releasing wind), then your Istinja has to be repeated. The release of any impurity from the body from these passages will need a new Istinja.

Istinja is to wash your private area at front and back removing any impurity. Impurities could be anything from urine, feces, period blood for women or sperm for men etc. Everything else that comes out of the body other then what comes out of your front and anal passage does not break Istinja, but that impurity must be purified separately.
