939 If by unexpected circumstances I need to pray Fajr Qaza. Do I need to complete the 2 Sunnah?
If a person misses Fajr Salaah due to unexpected circumstances, he should read the two Sunnahs and then two Fard Rakats (Kaza), up until the time of Zawaal (when the sun is at the highest point in the day).

However If Fajr Kaza is performed after the time of Zawaal, then only the two Fard Rakats (Kaza) can be performed.
