945 Is it permissible for a woman in Islam to be a lawyer? even if it is against your family's wishes, for example if they want you to be a doctor, but you know that that is the type of thing you wouldn't be comfortable with, because can't deal with blood etc. Is it a good profession? I know that for women it's mostly encouraged for them to go into medical practices to be nurses and doctors, but does that mean that they are then looked down upon if they decide to take any other career path?
