When a none Muslim person older than you is rude towards you what’s the right way to react to them, For example they tell you to take off your hood as soon as you enter the shop but your cold and don’t want to take it off and you say no. What can I do here because it’s not illegal and they are only ASKING because they think that I’m a thief for some strange reason? I have this sort of problem regularly where non Muslim people think I’m a thief and decide they can shout at me for no reason. |

Muslims should live their everyday lives as taught to us by the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), as He (S.A.W) is the perfect role model. The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) possessed all admirable traits and manners a person should have, e.g. Forbearance, mercy, compassion, fairness, benevolence, spirit of selflessness, hospitality, bravery, fulfilment of promise, patience, sympathy, humility and much more than mere words can express. With regards to the importance of maintaining good manners, Rasoolullah (S.A.W) has said, “Nothing is weightier on the scale of deeds than ones good manners.” (Bukhari Shareef) Once Muslims adapt these mannerisms in their day to day lives then inshallah the most ill mannered of people will have to accept defeat and show humbleness towards them also.
