867 I have been married for two years now but me and my husband have not had sexual intercourse. This is due to an illness he is experiencing. My friends and family have told me recently that if sexual intercourse between a married couple does not occur within the first three months of their marriage, their Nikah becomes invalid. Is this true? And also is there any Quranic Ayat or AHadith which can help my husband with his difficulty?

864 I have done a big sin. I had sexual intercourse with my wife after the child birth of 5th day itself, I didn't wait for 40 days completion. I don’t know what to do. I pray to Allah (S.W.T) to forgive me sin. I kindly request you to suggest me what are the steps I have to take, in order to be forgiven from Allah (S.W.T).

861 I believe that to ask Waseela of the pious and visit their Mizaar is a good practice and should be encouraged. The only thing I need clarifying is that I have seen in many places people place or tie scarf’s / cloths etc on trees (Urdu : Bore) where once pious personalities used to sit (i.e. : baeytak). Is this a good practice to do?

859 I would like to know what becomes Napak (Unclean) after sexual intercourse or foreplay. It is clear that after sexual intercourse or foreplay both men and women would have to perform Ghusl to become Pak (Clean), but until Ghusl is performed do we consider items we wear or touch become Napak as well? An example in my mind is that after intercourse I wear clothing which are clean/new. Then I perform Ghusl, am I permitted to wear the same clothing after Ghusl? can I perform Namaz, pray Quran etc thereafter.

858 If you are Fasting and whilst praying Salah you prostrate a little springy bit from the carpet enters your mouth or a piece of little hair, and then goes down your throat. Does it break your Fast, even though it was accidental?

857 I am about to marry my Muslim fiance in a ceremony with an imam in Turkey...... I would like to know the roles of a husband and wife....would my husband be right in not allowing me to do certain things or go certain places? Do I have the same rights on him? I have started to read the Quran and am trying to learn more. I was raised as a Christian and obviously know about my religion I need more understanding of his. AND… I just wanted to clarify what a woman's role is in a marriage. Am I right in saying that her priorities should be being a good wife and mother? But, if she has no children, what constitutes being a good wife? Traditionally people would assume this means cooking and cleaning etc for the husband. But did the Prophet (S.A.W) not do this for himself? Also, if she is working, is it acceptable for her husband to help her?

853 Please can you kindly advice me when a boy is born people most Pakistani people will distribute mithai (Indian sweets) but when a daughter is born they seem to be a not distributing the same for a daughter when she is born. Is that right? To treat the two very differently from a very young age from un islamic point of views- aren’t we all suppose to be equal and can you please shed some light as to where this tradition has come from? Is it from the Hindu community who are known for killing female foetus before the birth-ancestral.

851 I suffer with bleeding gums. Will my Fast break if I swallow the blood as I do not know when they are bleeding as it is not continuous?
