1st Muslims

During the month of Ramadan the first Ayahs of the Quran were revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W). This happened in the mountain of Hira (in Mecca) by Hazrat Jibrail (A.S) (Angel Gabrial (A.S)).

The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) extended his message to certain selected individuals who would consider his message with an open mind.

Sayyidonaa Abu-Bakr (R.A) was the 1st man to embrace Islam.

Sayyidah Khadija (R.A) was the 1st woman to embrace Islam.

Sayyidonaa Ali (R.A) was the 1st child to embrace Islam.

Sayyidonaa Bilal (R.A) was the 1st slave to embrace Islam.

Sayyidonaa Zaid Bin Harisah (R.A) was the 1st freed slave to embrace Islam.
