565 I have read that section of Kilafat of Sydena Ali (R.A). Your Aqaid are accepting Hazrat Ali (R.A) as source of Wilayat or Mola as declared at Ghadir e ham by Prophet of Allah (S.W.T). I just want to know, how can you praise Muavia in the same place? In your answer can you tell me meaning and purpose of Qadir e ham declaration and accompany your answer by Holy Quran reference what Mavia have done was right, so you did praise him.

564 I advised and asked the mother of my kids to have a surgical operation to stop getting pregnant permanently. She didn't want to, but she did. We have two kids. I know that I am fully responsible, and I know that I made a Haram Act. Now I am better Muslim, and I make Salat (Namaz). How can I ask forgiveness from Allah (S.W.T) and what is Kaffarah?

563 I met my partner ten years ago. Two years into the relationship he was told him and his family was going to Bangladesh to visit his dying granddad. They lied and once he was there they forced him into an arranged marriage. His family kept him there for 11 months during this time a child was conceived and we had no contact. He gave up on life and felt he had no choice but to get married and do as his family tell him. The marriage wasn't good his wife treated him very badly. A month into the marriage her family wanted them to separate because of how badly she treated him however his family wouldn't allow it. He has now been married for eight and a half years but separated for most of that time. We have broken up many, times as we both felt we should do the right thing to please Allah (S.W.T). We felt we should have no contact and he should try to make his marriage work and if Allah (S.W.T) wants us to be together we will be. We failed each time as we truly love each other so much we couldn't bear to be apart. What shall we do? Sometimes I feel he should go back to his wife for her sake and for his son but he is so unhappy with her and he loves me so much. He is suffering so much. He is 28 now and feels he has nothing in life. We want to get married and help each other to be good Muslims. I reverted to Islam two years ago. Are we going to hell? Was staying together the wrong thing to do? She never treated him good. He loves his son very much but doesn't feel that’s enough to stay living such a miserable life. I'm not heartless I feel sorry for her we both live with so much guilt. Is it ok for him to divorce her and marry me?

562 In my life I have done many Gunnah and am still doing big Gunnah I wish to stop. I do Pray Namaz but after sometime I go back to the bad habits and make Gunnah again. It should not be like that as I am a Muslim and know what is right and what is wrong. Can you give me a vazifah or Dua which will help me?

558 Is it suitable to read your Niyath in Arabic (from a Namaz book) rather than in Urdu or Punjabi. However the Arabic meaning does not state which Namaz you are reading. How would you read that or would you just have it in your mind that for example you are ready Zohr Namaz?

555 My First Child is due, by the will of Allah (S.W.T), in October this year. I understand that we need to do the Aqueeqah (booking a hall, inviting guests round, and inviting a guest imam, food and the Aqueeqah meat) which I have no problem with. But if by the will of Allah (S.W.T), the child is born during Ramadan, I guess everyone will be busy fasting and if the child is born after Ramadan, everyone has celebrated Eid and will not appreciate the Aqueeqah. I feel it will be more beneficial spiritually and morally that if I add up all these costs i.e. booking a hall, inviting guess round, inviting a guess imam, food and the Aqueeqah meat and send the equivalent amount in pounds to Sudan or Palestine or any poor regions where the people will appreciate it. How do I proceed?

553 If a food is 'Makhrooh', for example Prawns, we should not eat them because it isn't preferred to do so? Why are some things Makhrooh? What is the basis of Halal and Haram i.e. should we not eat something that doesn't have a backbone? Or does it drive from the days of old when people just ate anything and Allah (S.W.T) made rules for us so we would know what is clean and not? And what is the reason for this?
