The Blessed Head of the Prophet (S.A.W)
Narrating the features of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) Hazrat Ali (R.A) said that His (S.A.W) head was wide, a sign of a beautiful and glorious person.
Baal Mubarak (Blessed Hair)
Our Holy Prophet (S.A.W) hair was neither extremely curly nor straight, but were in-between. Prophet (S.A.W) hair would reach his ear-lobes, later they became curled and reached his shoulders.
The Prophet (S.A.W) would always oil his hair and frequently combed it, creating a middle-parting. The hair of Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W) head and beard were black and He (S.A.W) had no more than 20 white strands. (Shamaail Tirmidhi)
After shaving his head at Hajjatul-Wada, Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W) hair was given to the Sahabah Ikraam (R.A) as tabaruk, who thereafter kept it safe and protected them more than their lives.
Sayyidah Umme Salmah (R.A) had saved Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W) Baal Mubarak in a glass bottle. Whenever someone fell sick she would dip this bottle in water and give it to the person to drink. Subhanallah! The patient’s health would be restored. (Bukhari Shareef, Vol. 2, Pg.875)
Hazrat Al-Bara (R.A) said, “I did not see anyone with a more beautiful lock of hair resting on a red robe than the Messenger of Allah.”
Mubarak face of the Prophet (S.A.W)
The face of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was a mirror created by Allah (S.W.T) handsome, healthy and round.
Hazrat Jabir bin Samorah (R.A) narrates that on a moonlit night he gazed at the moon once and then at the face of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) and said, “I noticed that Rasoolullah’s (S.A.W) face was brighter than the moon.”
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R.A) said, “I have not seen anything more beautiful than the Messenger of Allah. It was as if the sun was shining in his face. When he laughed, it reflected from the wall.”
