Ramadan 2007 (Seerat-e-Mustufa (S.A.W))

Rivers Flow from Rasoolullah (S.A.W)'s  Blessed Fingers

At Hudaibiyah in 6 AH, the Sahaabah (RA) were in dire need for water as the Well of Hudaibiyah had been made dry by the large amount of people present. This prompted the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) to place His blessed fingers in a bowl, causing water to flow from His blessed fingers. All the people that were present then performed wuzu, ghusl, drank and filled their water-bags with this water, and when He (S.A.W) lifted His fingers away, the flow of water stopped.

Later some people had asked Hazrat Jabir (R.A) of the number of individuals that were present, he replied, “1500 people were present, yet the water was so much that it would have been sufficient for even 100,000.” (Mishkaat Shareef, Vol 2, Pg. 532)

Lost She-Camel

Imam Baihaqi (R.A) stated on the authority of Hazrat Urwah (R.A), that once, the Prophet’s (S.A.W) She-camel was lost. It could not be found in spite of searching for it very much.

A hypocrite, Zaid Bin Nusaib by name, taunted the Prophet (S.A.W) that the Prophet (S.A.W) claimed to tell about hidden things but, as regards to His own she-camel, He (S.A.W) did not know where it was  and why did He not tell him about it, who brings revelation to him. Hazrat Gabriel (A.S) came and informed the Prophet (S.A.W) about the taunting of the hypocrite and informed the Prophet (S.A.W) about the whereabouts of the camel.

The Prophet (S.A.W) said: “I do not claim to inform about the hidden things, but I tell that Allah (S.W.T) has told me about the taunting of the hypocrite and the whereabouts of my She-camel that it is now in such and such valley, with its bridle confused with a tree.” Hearing this the companions ran towards that valley and found the she-camel exactly in the same condition as was told by the Prophet (S.A.W).

The Stars Came Near

Imam Baihaqi (R.A) stated on the authority of Fathima binte Abdullah (R.A) (the mother of Hazrat Uthman bin Abi Al-A’as (R.A)), she stated “I was present at the time of the Birth of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). When He (S.A.W) was born, I found that the whole of the house had been filled with light and the stars had come so near that it seemed they would fall down.”
