During this last Ashra we have decided to take a break from our normal routine and highlight some of many Miracles performed by Rasoolullah (S.A.W). Hope you enjoy this section.
Three miracles in one journey
Hadrat Ya’laa bin Murah (R.A) states, “I witnessed three miracles of Rasoolullah (S.A.W) in one of his journeys,
- A camel which was making noise came to Rasoolullah (S.A.W) and placed its neck before him. He (S.A.W) then called the owner of it and said, “This camel has complained to me that you feed it little and make it do an excessive amount of work. You should be merciful to the animals under your care”.
- When Rasoolullah (S.A.W) was once asleep, a tree approached and covered him, later returning to its original place. When Holy Prophet (S.A.W) woke up I told him of what I had seen and He (S.A.W) explained, “The tree had asked Allah (S.W.T) for permission to make salaam to me. Allah (S.W.T) granted the tree this wish and what you saw was its salaam”
- A woman brought her child to Rasoolullah (S.A.W) and complained that he suffered from insanity. This caused the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) to hold the child by the nostril and say, “Come out as I am Muhammad (S.A.W), the Prophet of Allah (S.W.T)” we then left. On our return, Rasoolullah (S.A.W) asked the lady about her child to which she replied, “Oath on the One that’s sent you with truth! Since you left, we have not seen him suffer from any insanity”. (Mishkaat Sharif, Vol.2, Pg. 540)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah and His Memory
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) once told Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R.A), who had a weak memory, to spread open his sheet. After doing so, Rasoolullah (S.A.W) then placed his blessed hands on it and instructed him to pick it up and place it on his chest. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (R.A) states, “I never forgot anything after this”. (Bukhari Sharif, Vol. 1,)
Mountains Presents Salaam
Hazrat Ali (R.A) states, “While I was once accompanying the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) as He walked in Makkah, every tree and stone we had passed began to say “Peace be Upon you, O Messenger of Allah” to him which I was also able to hear.” (Tirmizi Shareef)
