Bright Forehead

Hazrat Ayed Bin Amro (R.A) was in injured in the Battle of Hunain, Prophet (S.A.W) wiped the blood from his mouth and prayed for him. The Palm of Holy Prophet (S.A.W) touched Hazrat Ayed Bin Amro’s (R.A) forehead, the result was, where the forehead was touched by Prophet (S.A.W) always remained bright. (Tabrani)

The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) prayed for the guidance of Hazrat Abu Huraira’s (R.A) Mother

Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A) narrates, “My mother was in the grip of polytheism.
I used to give the message of Islam to her but she wouldn’t accept. One day when I gave to her the message of Islam, she uttered unbearable words about my master (S.A.W).

I ran away from there weeping and went to the Prophet (S.A.W), who asked me “Abu Huraira (R.A) what had happened?” I narrated the incident and asked the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) to pray for the divine guidance of my mother. Hearing this, the Beloved Prophet (S.A.W) prayed: “O Allah (S.W.T), grant Divine guidance to Abu Huraira’s (R.A) mother”.

Hearing this I ran home extremely happy. I found the door closed. When my mother heard my footsteps she called out loudly: “Stop Abu Huraira (R.A).” I heard the sound of water spraying which indicated that she was having a bath, she put on some clothes but couldn’t put on a headscarf due to hurry, she quickly opened the door and told me: “Abu Huraira (R.A), be a witness” and then she recited the Kalima (declaration of faith) hearing this I again ran back weeping with joy and narrated the development to Prophet (S.A.W), when the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) heard this He (S.A.W) praised Allah and expressed his happiness and approval.”  

Prayer for Health

Hazrat Imam Baihaqi (R.A) on the authority of Hazrat Qadtadah (R.A) said, that the Prophet (S.A.W) prayed for Hazrat Qatadah (R.A) “May Allah (S.W.T) make your face successful and prosperous. O Allah (S.W.T) Grant blessing in the hair and body of Abu Qatadah (R.A).” The prayer had such an effect that he died and not a single hair grew grey and his face was so flourishing it seemed as if it was of a 15 year old.
